Jordan Stowell and Sonia Sturino were both born in April of 1990. Nice Friends was co-founded by Jordan and Sonia in December 2009.
Nice Friends will be releasing digital singles, 45s, EPs, and LPs as well as limited run hand-crafted physical releases. Digital releases will be for stores in the U.S. and Canada (as well as select other territories depending on the artist/release). A small number of each of the hand-crafted releases will be available in a handful of U.S. and Canadian stores, but most copies will be reserved for online sale (the Nice Friends online store, and the online store for the particular artist) as well as for the live shows of the given artist.
Nice Friends will be releasing free promotional compilations each quarter. These will be available for download through the Nice Friends website as well as through artist websites and Band Camp.
Nice Friends will be semi-annually releasing b-sides/rarities/live/acoustic compilations which will be available a through all major digital retailers (U.S., Canada, and select other territories based on the artists included).
U.S. operations are based out of Portland, Maine.
Canadian operations are based out of Vaughan, Ontario.
